REVIEW OF AESTHETICS AND FINE ART
Shining light
Exhibition at the Hwa Chong Centre in Singapore
Michael Lam brings together from 3rd to 8th May 2019 30 internationally renowned artists at the Hwa Chong Center in Singapore. Gloria Keh, Ivonne Torres, Naïg Desmadriguen, Parul Srivastava, Shyama Nadimpali, Gisela Hammer, Paul Strauth among others present a collection of paintings echoing the spiritual dimension that inspired them. Indeed, the unifying title of the exhibition, defined by the founder of Vision Art Media, Michael Lam, "Shining Light" evokes the pictorial research of each artist at the level of a deep questioning on the soul according to its cultural differences.
Such new outlooks and pioneering thoughts expressed by the medium of art, prophetic in their inspiration stir the viewer's heart. Most painters selected with international exhibiting experience who are showing their new way of regarding the sense of life and creation are female painters. We probably should notice a new evolution in the temperament of art : is a new female aesthetic antropomorphism born?
Stylistically, the significiant strength of painting that represents this new wave of international painters owes much to the tradition of Abstraction and Expressionismus but it recalls also aspects of the Singaporean symbols culture.

Metaphysical quest or expression of the sacred, the pictorial creations of this eminent international group of metempirical painting seek to illustrate Henri Pasqua's formula: "no individual can be given without containing within himself all the richness of the Universe". From Chia Chor Hua to Karu Kushima, we find a conceptual principle reviving contemporary art today
