Olga Veldina Kovaleva is a self-taught designer of Ukrainian origin. She has been practicing drawing since she was a child. With talented skills of illustrator, she favors the focus themes of the performing arts such as dance or theater characters.
On a mission to Kazakhstan, Olga Veldina Kovaleva has created a mural, that of the children's clinic.
Skillful in graphic design, she mirrors her poems and drawings creating collections evoking film or opera notebooks at the time of the Montmartre revisers of the 30s.
She makes the characters of the Commedia dell'arte such as Pierrot, the famous character of pantomime, represented most commonly in the features of the dreamer and the poet. Under the pen of Olga Veldina Kovaleva, Pierrot takes more melancholy features.

As a great ballet lover, she gives its truth signifiance to the feminine silhouettes of the dancers she has staged in her painting. According to her, "there is nothing more inspiring than a new form, a new look or a new movement". Her drawings which voluntarily have a rough character have clean lines. They convey by their smooth appearance a singular tranquility. The candor of the subjects is closely related to the naturalistic sensibility of Olga Veldina Kovaleva. The beauties of Nature are for her the greatest source of inspiration.

Watercolorist, she prefers the art of portraiture. She has painted many posters promoting the authentic trait that is similar to the writing of drawing. Her works are characterized by the sobriety of the form, the refinement of the subject, the uniqueness of the color. Olga Veldina Kovaleva is in search of Beauty according to the treaties of Aesthetics, she adds her own vision marked by a radiant feminity.
