MARTIN MOICH ABRAHAMS

Artwise. Formative life experiences have constantly preoccupied my imagination in various forms. In addition, by combining an interest in metaphysics with an intuitive visual search, I enjoy exploring the unconscious in a playful way. Literally, "drawing" on "these passions", there is as a form of fascination to reveal the mysterious and then eventually to conceal it. (...) Sometimes, the strongest emotions give rise to the strangest images "

THE CHILD REINVENTED

I've always had a slight penchant for science fiction, but I also like to reveal the mysterious and reinvented child that I am to make it a force of expression, which goes hand in hand with my interest in the deeper aspects. of the unconscious The art of "letting go"

Among the significant experiences that marked Moich's formative years were the friendship he wove with the local Rabbi, Rabbi David Solomon Sassoon, a prominent representative of the Sephardic Jewish community in the world.

As a teenager, Moich asks him, "If I'm going to pray, I need to know who and what to pray for". The Rabbi's answer is: "Imagine that you are on the best way to goodness." Dialogue with her.

This answer struck Moich's mind and undoubtedly contributed to his interest, many years later for the non-dualistic philosophy and the question which am I more specifically?

In 2013, Moich Abrahams won the Rootstein Hopkins Drawing Art Award at the Morley Gallery. His work has been selected for many events such as the Institute of Contemporary Art.
