Dansoir at Ouistreham
An exciting 4 day international festival at the Dansoir, Riva Bella
Date: 29-30-31 May and 2 June 2019
Performance covers numerous genres including visual arts, acting and living arts. Deriving from the postmodernist traditions of the 1960s, performance deals with all the possibilties of the human body on the stage.
This festival draws together the most experienced international perfomers to realise the concept of acting, as ebvusaaged by Tennessee Williams in his production notes for The Glass Menagerie by means of a performance competition involving the most experienced international performers: " when a play employs unconventional techniques, it is not, or certainly shouldn't be, trying to escape its responsability of dealing with reality or interpreting experience, but is actually or should be attempting to find a closer approach, a more penetrating and vivid expression of things as they are ".

The international festival of performances will be chaired by Michael Lam, founder of Vision Art Media in New-York.
Accommodation : if you are selected, you will be accommodated free by the company of the Dansoir during the festival. Food costs are not included except the invitations of the Dansoir's company
International performances festival fees as performer : £90
Transport : Travel from your country is not included
Categories of work:
Acceptable categories of performances include but are not limited to : Painting, Mixed media, Drawing, Photography, Sculpture, Digital Art , Video/ Film, Installations, litterary arts, dance, poetry, theatre, scenic arts.
Submission of works:
Could you please send me three videos (jpeg) of the work you have been developing, and your art resume or a basic information on you and your experience as a performer,your biography and your cv for appreciation. Please could you add 2 or 3 photos of your artworks, a photo of yourself and your previous performances including a payment of £9 for the selection costs
