À propos de Naïg

Naïg was born in Normandy on the 29 th of February 1980. As a child she began learning the oboe and contemporary dance at the Conservatoire of Caen. She grew up in a family where art, and especially sculpture played an important role in daily life. Frequent contact with artists helped to develop a liking and an affinity for aesthetics.
She studied literature and musicology at the Sorbonne. She commenced a doctorate which remained unfinished as she changed direction and pursued a study of the thought of St Augustine.
Moreover, she taught French Language and French Literature and History of the Arts in the area of Paris.
In 2010 she and her partner started an experimental organic farm to investigate the conservation of rare breeds of animals and the use of herbal medicine. In 2013, her partner pulled out of the venture. Nature then led her to discover the rules of the Music of the Spheres, and she has been living in relation with the spirits of Nature, in the manner of St Augustine.
Since then, she has been exploring different forms of calligraphy with ink. She exhibited at the Espacio Gallery in March 2018. She draws on wide-ranging literary themes, developing different technics alongside chalk and pastels.
